1 Selection controls

When an include has been set as a column attribute, it is necessary to set the type of that include (or the type of selection controls), because depending on the include type the way to indicate the data of the column is different.

These are the selection controls supported by the system:

 

1.1 Checkbox

To set the value of the indicated column a checkbox will be shown.

Only binary options

It can be used only for binary options like "Yes/No", "true/false"...
 

1.2 Switch

To set the value of the indicated column a switch will be shown.

The operation will be the same as with checkbox selection controls.

Only binary options

It can be used only for binary options like "Yes/No", "true/false"...
 

1.3 Radio buttons

To set the value of the indicated column a predefined set of values will be shown. Each predefined value is displayed as a radio button and only one can be selected.

Source values definition

This type of selection controls requires the definition of source values that define the list of predefined values allowed for the column. This list of values can be either specified directly or retrieved by a SQL statement executed at run time.
 

1.4 Dropdown list

To set the value of the indicated column a dropdown list with a set of values will be shown. Only one can be selected.

The operation will be the same as with radio buttons selection controls.

1.5 Dropdown list (Multiple)

To set the value of the indicated column a dropdown list with a set of values will be shown. More than one value can be selected.
