1 Creation of new movements
1.1 From the ERP
In the section parametrization, one can see the object for the creation of movements frmo the ERP.
To create new movements, the type of movement, the origin and destination, and the date (required fields). Notice that when selecting static movements (recounts
and inventories
),
the fields destination store and warehouse remain disabled, and will be automatically completed once the movement is created.
When the movement is created with a bad parametrization ( origin and destination share warehouse, too few informed fields, too many informed fields, etc.) this movement will not be created and
the parametrization will have to be changed accordingly.
Once the movement is created, the STATE and the MODE (Automatic or manual) will be automatically informed, and it will be possible to create new lines in the movement.
1.2 UI movement views
The UI of the movements corresponds to a set of views accessed with the drop-down menu of the navigation bar.
This menu gives us access to the Movements Views, where one can create and manage the movements of the store.
The movements module contains two views, listed below:
- Open/Closed Movements View: contains a list of all the movements (open or closed) for the employee.
- Movement view: It is a specific view of a movement. It contains information about the goods that were involved in the movement.
A part from these two views, there are several modal windows that allow the user to create, modify and delete movements or items in the movements.
2 Movements list view
This view contains a list with the most relevant information about the movements where the store has been involved.
There are two lists that can be accessed form this view: the closed movements and the open movements.
-
Closed movement: a movement is consiedered to be closed for a given terminal if the store it belongs to cannot alter in any way the given movement.
Examples:
- Shipments that were sent from the store, but now are pending for the destination store.
- Adjusments of the store that are in state ended.
-
Open movement: a movement is consiedered to be open for a given terminal if the store it belongs to can alter in some way the given movement.
Examples:
- Shipments sent from the store in state
picking
orpending
(depends on the mode (automatic or manual). - Adjusments of the store that are still in process
- Shipments from other stores that have as destination the user store and are in state
confirming
.
- Shipments sent from the store in state
There are movements, however, that can never be viewed by the user. These movements are movements that have as origin and destination stores different that the user store (movement does not involve the user store), or shipments to the store that sill have to be confirmed by the origin store (user store is still not involved in the process).
2.1 Movement list item
Each item of the list is a movement that can be accessed for further information about the goods involved in the movement. From this view, the list items can be edited using the pen icon in the right part of the item.
This pen icon gives access to the 'Edit movement window', which allows the user to modify the information of the movement. The modal window that appears is the same window used to create the movements. The only difference is that, being the movement created, some information cannot be chagned, like the origin and destination.
2.2 Adding new movements
For the creation of new movements, a stepper window is used. These steps contain the information in an order way, in order to help the user create the movement more efficiently.
All the steps of the creation of a new movement can be seen in the following images:
3 Movement view
The other view in the movements modules is the Movement view. As commented before, this view contains specific information about the selected movement. this view has the following display:
From this image, we can see three different action to be made directly to the movement:
- Red: Cancel movement. This button cancels the current movement, and will only appear when this action is possible. Otherwise it will not appear.
- Orange: Lock the movement. This button locks all the lines of the movement and confirms them, making the movement ready for the next state.
- Green:Add new item. This button adds a new item to the movement. It will prompt the modal window that we'll see next.
3.1 Add or edit item in movement
To add or edit items in the current movement, one can click in the 'plus' icon in the movement header. Besides, one can use the barcode reader in the top right corner of the movement header.
Using the 'plus' icon, a modal window will appear, and some extra information about the item can be added, such as quantity or item notes. If the barcode reader is used, one item of the read product will be added to the movement, without item notes (these can later be edited by editing the item line).
3.2 Closing movement
In order to close a movement (onto the next state), all the items of the movement must be confirmed. An item is confirmed when the quantity is locked.
When all the items of a movement are confirmed, a new icon appears in the movement header: the close button.
