Axional Projects allows users to allocate hours. These hours can be only of two types:
- User events (only if enabled).
- Project cards.
1 User events
These types of hours refer to vacation days, sick leaves, personal matters and others. If the user has the corresponding permits, the user event can be allocated from My Time Sheet screen. Process:
- Access Axional Projects.
- Access the My Time Sheet screen
from the left menu.
- Press the New Calendar Event button.
- Select the
USER EVENT
- Select in the Type drop-down menu one among the following options:
- Holiday: vacation days.
- Leave: sick leaves.
- Personal: personal matters.
- Others.
- Add a short description to the event, since this field is required.
- Select the date and indicate the start time and the total hours to be allocated. By default, the system proposes the current time and date.
It should be taken into consideration that a whole day corresponds to a working day, usually equivalent to 8 hours.
2 Allocate hours to project cards
There are different ways to allocate hours to a project card:
- Through the Timesheet of the card.
- Through the My Time Sheet.
- Through the timer.
2.1 Allocate hours through the Timesheet of the card
After accessing a card, either from a board or from the Issues screen, follow the procedure described below:
- Select the Timesheet option, located on the right side of the card.
- Add a brief description of the service, since this field is required
- Select the date and indicate the start time and the hours total to be allocated. By default, the system proposes the current time and date.
- Check that the Billable indicator is correct. If not, click on the selector to change status.
- Press the Add to Timesheet button: the service has already been successfully allocated. From this moment it is already visible and editable from My Time Sheet.
2.2 Allocate hours through My Time Sheet
To allocate hours through My Time Sheet, follow the procedure below:
- Access Axional Projects.
- Access My Time Sheet screen.
in the left menu.
- Select the button New Calendar Event
- Select the button
TIMESHEET to create a new event.
- Select the desired option from each of the different drop-down menus:
- Projects
- Boards
- Lists
- Cards
- Add a brief description of the service, as this field is required.
- Select the date and indicate the start time and the total of hours to be allocated. By default, the system proposes the current time and date.
- Check that the Billable indicator is correct. If not, click on the selector to change its status.
- Press the Add button: the service has been successfully assigned. From this moment it is already editable from My Time Sheet
2.2.1 Allocate hours by copying an event
When two events are similar, as long as they correspond to the same card, the content can be copied and modified to create a new event in My Timesheet . This way the user can speed up the time allocation process.
Procedure:
- Access a My Timesheet.
- Select the card to be copied.
- Press the edit icon.
- Modify the content of one of the possible fields: description, date, time, duration or billable.
- Press the button SAVE AS NEW: the new event has been created and the original remains intact.
2.3 Allocate hours via the timer
The timer
allocates hours to the chosen cards, marking the card with the day and time when the timer was activated.
Each time the timer is activated and deactivated, the system will create a new event.
It is very important not to forget to deactivate the timer after the event ends.
2.3.1 From the card timer
After accessing a card, either from a board or from the Issues screen, follow the procedure described below:

- Press the timer icon on the card: the timer has been activated and turns red.
When the timer is active, a red tick is displayed on the general timer
, visible from any screen of the application. Pressing the general timer, the card it belongs to will be displayed.
- Deactivate the timer by clicking on the icon, either from the card or from the general timer: the card timer turns green and the general timer mark disappears.
- From now on, the service is visible and editable from My Time Sheet.
2.3.2 From the general timer of the application
This option is only available for those cards previously assigned to the user.
The general timer
is located at the top of any application screen
and by clicking on it when it is active (red mark), it is detailed which card is active.

Procedure:
- Press on the general timer
- Select the desired option from each of the different drop-down menus:
- Projects
- Boards
- Issues
- Now it is possible to press the icon Play
: the timer has been activated. When a card is active, the general timer shows a red mark

Deactivate the timer by pressing the Stop icon
as soon as the event ends.
- From this moment the service is already visible and editable from My Time Sheet.
When the general timer is accessed and whenever it is active
(red mark), it is also possible to access the active card.
