The Message Board Editor tool is used to create messages that will automatically pop up to the users after the login to ensure that they see the message.

1 General View / List of messages

The first view of the tool shows the list of the messages that you have created.


  1. Refresh button to reload the list.
  2. Each row of the list represents one message, ordered by date. If the user clicks over any of them the detail of the message will be opened.
  3. Add button to open the create message form.

2 Create/Edit a message board (form)

In order to create or edit a message the user will be faced with the following form:

  1. Go back to the Messages list view.
  2. Go to previous and next message buttons.
  3. Button to clear the form and start anew.
  4. Button to create the message.
  5. Button to save the message.
  6. Button to delete the message.
  7. Input to enter the name of the user the message is directed to. If filled, the group input will be left blank.
  8. Input to enter the group the message is directed to. If filled, the user's name input will be left blank.
  9. Input type: Notification or Condition.
  10. Input mode: Information or Warning.
  11. The date the message starts being shown. The message is shown until the user accepts it.
  12. The date the message stops being shown (optional).
  13. The body of the message.

When editing a message there will also be these elements:

  1. Link to go to Create translation view.
  2. List of translations for the message. Click over a row to edit the translation.
  3. List of users who have accepted the message.

2.1 Notification messages

The user must click accept to proceed.

2.2 Condition messages

The user must click the checkboc and then click accept to proceed.

3 Create/Edit a translation

In order to create or edit a translation the user will be faced with the following form.

  1. Go back to the Edit message view.
  2. Go to previous and next message buttons.
  3. Button to clear the form and start anew.
  4. Button to create the translation.
  5. Button to save the translation.
  6. Button to delete the translation.
  7. Input to enter the language of the translation (uniquely defined).
  8. The body of the translation.
  9. List of translations.
